Aluminised gaiters with spring-closure systems for ankle and foot protection against flames, convective and radiant heat, and molten metal splashes.
Recommended for intermittent use, as the spring closure makes them easy to put on and take off.
For prolonged or continuous wear, the aluminised gaiters with velcro fastener (E6200) are recommended.
- Holding strap beneath the sole (breaks easily in case of snagging to avoid a fall)
- Spring-closure systems with crust-leather lining
- Soft metal bar to be bent into shape before first use, to fit the rounding of the instep and prevent the gaiters from turning
- 100% Kevlar® thread seams
