EDC. Aluminised proximity suit for extreme radiant heat environments. The full kit includes a hood, coverall, fibreglass helmet and overboots. EN 1486 and EN ISO 11612 certified.
Aluminized proximity suit equipment for firefighting, comprising:
- Coverall: aluminised coverall with zipper, under flap, snap buttons, fully lined with flame-retardant cotton
- Standard Hood: aluminised hood with a 3 mm clear polycarbonate screen and a 1 mm gold polycarbonate screen
- Helmet: fibreglass helmet integrated into the hood, with the front of the hood adapted for use with a demand-valve respirator
- Standard Overboots: aluminised overboots with aluminised upper, lined with 100% flame-retardant cotton, multi-layer soles rated for floors up to 400°C, open at the back with under flap and one ankle strap per overboot
- Gloves: aluminised gloves with inner jersey wool lining, total length 40 cm, with aluminised palm or HTR-treated crust leather
Sizes available: M- L – XL – XXL
Options:
- Back Pocket Hood: hood with back pocket to cover SCBA cylinder
- Basic Overboots: simplified aluminised overboots, replacing the standard overboots
- Back Pocket Hood + Basic Overboots: hood with back pocket to cover SCBA cylinder + simplified aluminised overboots, replacing the standard overboots
Composition: Fireshield complex: aluminized aramid fabric 300 g/m², carbon felt insulation 320 g/m², aluminized glass fabric 135 g/m², flame-retardant treated cotton 185 g/m². 100% cotton lining with flame-retardant treatment for the suit.
