Alutherm Chain-Mill Mittens for High-Heat Contact Protection
45.03 €
Sold By: EDC PROTECTION
EDC. Alutherm® mittens for limited contact with parts up to 600°C, featuring fire-resistant wool lining. Reversible design for extended use.
For limited contact with parts up to 600°C. The duration of insulation depends on the temperature of the object.
Fiberglass is thermally efficient but less resistant mechanically. Choose this option only when contact temperatures genuinely exceed 500°C. For lower temperatures, consider para-aramid or Kermel® alternatives.
The mitten is ambidextrous and reversible: by switching hands, the top becomes the palm and vice versa, effectively doubling the service life of the mittens.
- Pair of mittens with a contact layer in Alutherm® glass fabric
- Internal thermal insulation with a thick fire-resistant wool lining
- Length: 40 cm
