These environments expose robots to extreme heat, airborne particles, dirt, steam, and mechanical hazards that can significantly reduce equipment lifespan and increase downtime.
The KARDENAC® protective cover is specifically engineered for high-temperature industrial applications. Its exceptionally tear-resistant construction provides reliable protection against heat, abrasion, sparks, molten material exposure, and accidental contact with hot components.
In foundry operations, robots with high payload capacities are commonly used for handling cast parts, moving bins, and supporting pressure casting processes. Protective covers in these environments must withstand temperatures ranging from 400°C to 1600°C while meeting M1 fire-resistance standards.
To ensure maximum protection during casting, forging, and die coating operations, ASP utilizes advanced technical fabrics including KARDENAC®, Tiffon Green®, and TKS-Alu®, delivering superior thermal resistance and durability. Optional integrated ventilation systems can regulate internal cover temperatures, allowing robots to operate safely beyond standard ambient temperature limits of 5°C to 45°C.
